I conduct research to explore, examine and understand the kinds of impact that programmes, such as Innovate to Save, can have in trialling, scaling and implementing innovation in public services.
Innovate to Save
Before moving into Higher Education as first a student, then lecturer, I trained as a registered general nurse. Prior to completing my PhD in 2017, I held research posts at Cardiff University, the Social Care Institute for Excellence and the University of Birmingham. I am particularly interested in research which explores: value (co-) creation and destruction in public services; patient engagement in health care, an application of services marketing theories and concepts to the context of health care.
Outside of Work
In my free time I enjoy music, cycling and jogging (badly!)
